Blinding

Back in October or November I came across a skirt that I loved. I couldn't stop thinking about it. Even though it was a mini skirt. Even though it was covered in sequins. Even though it was impractical.  But at $50, I just couldn't justify it.

One of my fabulously shoppy friends kept an eye on it for me and let me know when it went down to $15! $15!!! How could I possibly resist?

I love the skirt. My bosses loved the skirt. But I every so nearly had a wardrobe malfunction. I bought the skirt a little big. I thought that it would be rather less unseemly to wear to work than a slightly too tight sequinned skirt. However, by the time that I walked down the stairs, to my car, drove to work and walked up the stairs the skirt had slid down considerably. I had to borrow a pin to sort myself out for the rest of the day! Still, worth it. 

Today I'm thankful for over-prepared co-workers who can help in times of near-crisis.
