Yarra Trams

One night we couldn't get to sleep because outside the window was BANGING, CRASHING, POUNDING, BOOMING, CRUSHING and CLANGING.

Yarra Trams had decided to redo the tram tracks on our road. It was a 24 hours a day job. In the mail we recieved a notice that they would only do the noisiest work during the day. Not so. 

The next day I walked to work and counted 47 crane-like jackhammers. Right outside my window. 

Today I am thankful that roadworks are done and I can sleep.
