Birthday Dinner

My friend and I were born on the same day. Which means that together we are 64. We decided that she and her husband needed a night away from the kids . And I, uh, am really good at going out.

We had a lovely meal at a lovely local restaurant (lamb shank with Moroccan stew!)

Today I'm so thankful for old friends. We met on the first day of grade nine and even though we have very different lives, we're still awesome!
