Takeoff

Once you've lived here, crossed this street 10, 20, 1000 times... it'll belong to you because you've lived there. That was about to happen to me, but I didn't know it yet."

Today the Gentleman Caller and I are leaving for Australia. We have a fairly brutal journey. A 47 hour journey that includes an 8 hour lay-over in Beijing. I hope we don't kill each other or ourselves. 

I'll continue to blog whilst in Australia, I'm just not sure how yet. Perhaps I'll have more posts, perhaps less. Likely, there will be more travel and personal stories. Outfit posts may be limited as my wardrobe will have shrunk by about 90%. Soooo I guess we'll see. I would honoured and pleased if you'd like to come along this journey with me! 

Today I am thankful for the miracle of  human flight!
