To market baby

Today we went to the Queen Victoria market. I love markets because they are just so full of life and you never know what kind of amazing thing you are going to find there. The fruit and veg is much cheaper than in the grocery store. We bought enough food to feast for a week.

Our hosts, Ollie and Dave, have been showing us Australian movies so that we get the vibe of the place. So far we've watched The Castle, Two Hands and Priscilla Queen of the Desert. We're practicing our accents and learning Aussie slang. But we pretty much thing that it's mad as a bunch of cut snakes!

Today I'm thankful that our friend Dave is tall so we didn't lose each other in the busy market!
