Balancing Act

At the moment I'm in the middle of both provincial and city championships for ringette. Now don't get too excited, we're really not that good and lost our first game last night by a mere 10-3.

Also, as it was a rough night dentists jaw pain wise there isn't an outfit photo today. Because, frankly, I look a mess and like I'm about to go to work, duck out to drive an hour on icy roads, play a game, drive back and get back to work, all whilst holding a bag of frozen veg to my face.
So here's a picture from my random wanderings in London instead!

Carry on then... FBFF!

1. When it comes to prioritizing your life, in what place does blogging fall?
Umm well blogging is just for fun really. I'm amazed that anyone at reads it. So I spend a lot of my relaxing time reading blogs and not as much writing them. I guess I would say: family/friends, work, blogging, napping...

2. We all wish we had more free time to dedicate to blogging and all it entails. What are your tricks for taking advantage of the time you do have to be as productive as possible?
I try to write a bit when I'm able and save them as drafts so that I can go back and finish a post when I have more time. I try to take pictures when I come home from work and then post them the next day so that I have some time and am not so very rushed.

 3. Have you discovered any short-cuts that makes blogging easier or more time efficient?
Pre-schedulling posts! Seriously how fab is it? You can write when you have the time and then plan to post it whenever you need to. I did this while I was away and it was great. I didn't have to think about the blog while I was galavanting about and most of my readers were still here when I got back!

 4. Do you have an editorial calendar or something similar that helps you plan ahead?
No. Planning ahead is not one of my strong points. I don't like the commitment. I usually think vaguely about what I want to wear the next day to make the mornings easier. But sometimes I just can't bear to put on what I thought I would. Having something like that would probably be helpful but I don't see it working for me at this stage in my life.

 5. If time wasn’t an issue what you would be doing on your blog/for your blog that you aren’t doing now?
I think that I would read more blogs and comment more. I would want to sort out some guest bloggers or an interesting feature. And I would definitely like to learn how to take better pictures and in a place that isn't in my apartment all the time. And maybe I'll get it together in the future. But for now I'm fairly happy with being a simple little blog that is real with who I am right now...

Cool! Happy Friday everyone!
Today I'm thankful for a workplace that allows both casual and dressy clothing options.

I feel for you, with the jaw pain. I suffer (and I do mean suffer) from TMJ and all of it's side effects. Good luck with the pain, I found ice packs really work quite well!

Most of my shots are at the same location as well! Maybe once I get more experienced I can experiment with different locations. The upcoming spring season should provide me with just what I need!
