Just one day

Holiday day Holiday day Holiday day! I'm packed and ready to go! I've unplugged everything and checked that the oven is off 5 times!

Today, in approximately 8 hours, the Gentleman Caller and I are hitting the road! Whoo! We are going to go shopping at the West Ed Mall (I want to go touch the pretty things at Anthroplogie!), bob around in the wave pool, have a beer at a pub, have Mexican food, meet up with his family, go to the farmers market and most of all relax!

I usually don't take pictures in the morning because I have a bleary-eyed look and because I'm not a morning person, everything that has to happen is on a schedule! So much so that if I miss crossing the street at the right light I'm late. Confession time: usually I take pictures when I get home from work and then post one day behind. It works way better for my sanity but this week got away from me...

Today I am thankful for clear roads and little cars that are good on gas so that we can go on a mini-holiday!

Ah, the West Ed Mall! Fantastic! Hmm, and now, for some reason, I have "Hurtin' Albertan" in my head...

The tan skirt is a beautiful break in the lines of blue and black, and wonderfully unexpected.

Oooh, have a great time! You look terrific in this outfit and don't look remotely bleary-eyed. And I think that it's fine that you post one day behind on the outfits. I do that regularly. =)

i am excited for you! I wish for a mini holiday. and like you, i check my oven multiple times before i leave the house. sometimes, I drive back home just to check the oven.

Super cute!!! The skirt is fabulous and I love the colors! And don't worry... I sometimes take all my outfit shots on Sunday afternoon and post them through the week. (But I don't do them all that way, and since starting my blog, I go out more dressed up and take pictures on the day I wear them... I still don't post them until later a lot of the time... I'm just happy when I have a day where I can wear an outfit for the whole day!) :)
