It is so hot in my apartment right now! All the radiators are off so this must mean that spring is here? Please?

Last night as the Gentleman Caller and I were making our Valentine's dinner (which wasn't that different than other dinners except that we had pink cupcakes) the back and top of the stove let out a huge spark and a bang! It was so scary! And now I have to call the landlord. Which means that I have to clean my place up...

Black was all that I could muster today. I've been getting these terrible headaches and today's another bad one. Looks like I'll be sitting in my office in the dark all day. Grrrr....

Today I am thankful for Rosebud Salve. It's amazing for my winter lips and the container is so pretty!

Hope you're able to get that stove fixed! That does sound terrifying.

Oh no! I hate large-appliance-related mishaps! And I also hate terrible headaches. I experience the latter more than seems right for one person. Migraines suck. On the other hand, you still look cute!

Melissa: The stove is fixed! And now I have an indicator light which I never had before so I can actually tell what temp it's at!
Katie: I understand the Christmas tree thing! I have exactly 1 ornament and it hangs by my door year round. I didn't even have a chance to clean up because the landlord brought a package that had been delivered today! Messy Valentine's dinner dishes everywhere!
Carol: I'm pretty afraid to turn it on again... even though he SAYS that it's fixed!

Sorry to hear you are getting headaches. those are the worst. yuck.
