This morning when the alarm rang I though for sure that it had to be a joke. I could have slept for weeks more!

I didn't plan on wearing my scarf all day at all. When I was getting dressed I knew that there was some reason that I only wear this shirt underneath things but I couldn't remember what it was. Turns out it's because there are little rips in the front due to delicate material in an overly enthusiastic washing machine. I had to strategically drape my scarf to hide my burgeoning hobo-itude. Note to self: Do not get dressed in the dark. It leads to hobo chic and insideout underoos...

top: Joe Fresh
scarf: ?, bought it for $5 from the University bookstore
jeans: Smart Set
booties: Red or Dead via ebay, heels sparklated by me

This outfit was entirely based on the shoes. I got them on ebay for a song. I think that originally the wedge heels were white but the previous owners had painted them teal with nail polish. I helped the effort by putting sparkles all over. Sadly, it didn't make them more comfortable...

Today I am thankful for the inventor of pedways. I was able to walk nearly half way home using the skywalks that connect the downtown buildings. Sure it takes longer but it also is a lot warmer!

* yes my brain is so full of mush that the title was the only thing that I could come up with... no really.

Yup, pedways rock. In the summer I can run across the road for coffee and be back at my desk in 4 minutes; in the winter it takes 10 to go up, across, down, and back again.

That is a totally awesome outfit. It sucks that the shoes aren't comfy because they look so cool.

Ah, hobo holes ... my problem is no full-length mirror in my house. I get to work thinking I look fine and then realize I don't on my first bathroom trip.
How I miss pedways...

And well done on your glitter-ifying strategy. I shall now go and practice that fantastic scarf wrapping technique!
A full length mirror is the first thing that I bought because I was worried about that! Also the scarf thing is all down to tying a couple of the strings together to make it a big circle! Easy Peasy!

Awesome glitterifying!! I love the blue of your top, so pretty. And the scarf looks great with the top, even if it there for strategic hole covering!

Danielle, you should seriously consider doing a "vlog" to teach us lesser mortals how to do that scarf tying trick! I for one would totally benefit from it! I love that scarf and for five bucks? Score! The last picture of you, the one before the shoe one, is fantastic! You look wonderful! :)

I love all the blues in this outfit and those boots are amazing! Sparkly is always good. I'm sorry they're not comfortable though!

And um...what's a pedway? And a skywalk?

Gah! The sparkly wedges! I LOVE them!
Those are some wicked booties! I was laughing so much at the accidental hobo-esque vibe! That happens to me a lot, I've learned to just role with it. Lol. Some fabrics are just impossible to wear without ruining!
