Melt a little of that ice

I've been looking for a job for a while now. I've applied for a few but, frankly, I don't want to be a travelling carnival worker. Yes, that really is an option.

The other day I got an email stating that if I was still interested in a particular position I need to participate in some testing. Or, as they euphemistically put it, 'attend a prescreening exercise'. I knew I wouldn't really being seeing anyone who has any say in my being hired but it's still important to make a good impression. To me, it's also really important to feel like myself and not a corporate drone.

boots: Ayla

So I did the testing and it was not at all what I was expecting. I walked out of there feeling like I didn't do that well. It felt like the questions were designed for someone who had the knowledge that typically came from already working in that area. Oh well... And then I got a phone call to come in for an interview!!

Today I'm thankful that even when my faith fails me the Universe holds my hand.

Best of luck at the job interview! Your blue blazer looks great with all black. Your pictures are adorable! Heather

You did very well on finding a professional you outfit! I'm guessing the job was government related, based on the test. I scored the top of a testing session for one, once, and I got a 48%. Just so bizarre!

I honestly think your outfit, in addition to the Universe and your Faith helped you get the job! Love it!
