Kicking it old school

This weekend involved sitting on patios, witnessing friends eat a seafood feast at Red Lobster and then have to go home to put sweatpants on immediately, going for lunch with the ladies, eating homemade burgers, and watching True Blood.

Also I was able to ride my bike to the farmer's market to pick up some lovely things.

And the Gentleman Caller procured a free Nintendo (you know, the original one from 26 years ago). We spent Saturday night playing Mario, Duck Hunt and Tetris. Brilliant night!

cardigan: Ricki's

dress: Uttam London from oh, 2006
leggings: Target
shoes: fashion Crocs

Today I'm thankful for nice weather (finally) and my dad for getting my bicycle fixed. It is such a pleasure to be able to ride around. I'm about to hop on to go do my grocery shop!

Ok, I have lots to say:
1. I love this outfit - that dress is totally badass!
2. I have the same shoes and they rock.
3. Farmer's markets are the best.
4. I am totally jealous of your nintendo! Super Mario 3, anybody?

also, we DVR'd true blood last night and I can't freaking wait to watch it tonight! and the OG super mario is the best.

Ahhh I love breaking out the old SNES and playing for as long as I can before the darn thing inevitably crashes, haha.
Love how you layered the dress!

That sounds like a perfectly perfect weekend! I'm glad you had a good one!

Come take a look inside A Working Mom's Closet
I'm trying to imagine a scenario where Jimi Hendrix and Chairman Mao are next to one another. I'm pretty sure it's at a fondue party.

YEHESS! For classic video games! I am a fan, even though I suck at playing them. I grew up on smash and kill, not strategy and skill :) hahaha. And whoa, lady, your dress is AMAZING!
